Which is Healthier, McDonalds, Burger King, or Subway?
A comparison of some popular items shows Subway is your healthiest choice
Julian Narvaez
Every once in a while it is okay to go out and eat some fast food. Who doesn’t enjoy a Big Mac or a Whopper every now and then? Well let’s compare the two and see which is actually worse for you. To judge which is unhealthy, if any, we will use the recommended amounts of daily intake for each category. These values are: calories (2000), total fat (65 grams), and sodium (2400 milligrams).

From these figures the Whopper trounces the Big Mac in being unhealthier. However if we look at a foot-long Subway Sandwich, which is supposed to be the healthiest fast food, we will see that it isn’t too far off from these burgers.

Although Subway sandwiches have a lower amount of total fat than the fast food burgers they have a sky-high sodium dosage. Even with such high sodium amounts the Subway sandwich is the best choice. Its miniscule total fat is a big improvement from the relatively high amounts in the fast food burgers.
