The economy's down the tubes. Your significant other just broke up with you. You've got a million papers due and a test in class tomorrow. You are stressed out. How can you get rid of some of the tension in your life? Here are some ideas.
1. Get a pet.
Pets help reduce stress, big time. It's always nice to come home after a hard day to someone who loves you, no matter what. Studies show that having pets with fur can boost your immunity to allergies and asthma, as well as lower your blood pressure.
2. Listen to music.
Listening to calm-sounding music can actually calm you down.
3. Meditate.
