Rushed results called in

North Albany Post on North First Street in Albany had no more voters by ten of nine. Exhausted people working the polling machines and people collecting the results eagerly waiting in the corner are all that remained in the building.
On arrival ID’s were required to obtain the results but when no ID was available it was just ignored. When the clock struck nine the poll workers explained to the people waiting to collect the results “No offense but we’re not waiting around for you, we’ve been here all day.” The four people waiting for the results ran around from machine to machine attempting to hear the numbers being rattled off. The North Albany Post had four voting distracts making it more of a challenge to collect all the results. Much confusion came about when attempting to figure out which machine was which polling district. It all seemed to match up in the end right before the machines were turned off. Everyone left the polling place in quite a rush.
The results were called in through a long telephone call consisting or repeating numbers several times and waiting while the phone operator asked her manager “she has more what do I do” and he replied ask if she has another code. “Eight.” “Four?” “No, Eight!” “Eight?” “Yes.” This conversation seemed to happen several times during the phone call. By 9:40 p.m. the results for North Albany Post seemed to be in place.
