Can we get a debate/opinion section?

The lynch pin for of nation is about to snap, and we don't demand, nor do we deserve, a legitimate answer or proposal or anything at all that will keep us from spiraling completely out of control?
Someone said to me recently, whose name I cannot disclose, that John McCain and company are the most "unpatriotic mother fuckers" around. Not because he does not wear a lapel pin but because their idea of reform is to privatize wealth, socialize loss, and make the bottom 95 percent support the top 5 percent. McCain said he wanted to put a halt on federal spending, except for Department of Defense of course (and other war related programs.)
McCain looked desperate while Obama looked poised. McCain looked nervous. He looked like a politician. He looked liked an old man with a lot of palms to re-grease and nothing to lose.
But an election. And 7-ish houses. So maybe in reality he has more to lose than Obama.
We desperately needed McCain to lose. Not because Obama can keep us any safer or warmer, but at least he won't be taking orders from his rich friends. Chris Rock said it best…
"Vote for the guy with one house, 'cause he scared of losing it."
Well, Obama has two houses now. His home in Chicago and his new white house in DC.
