Rounds For The Books, On The Poltical Debate.
Who did students think was better in the preseidential debate?

Round three: Tone of campaign. It was said that both of these candidates have been saying very negative things towards each other, but are they willing to say it face to face? McCain started off by talking about democrat John Lewis who said some remarks about him and Palin being church bombers ECT, he also said when any republican had said something about Obama he always commented and tried to help it. He also said Obama did lie about public finance to the American people. Obama said 100% of McCain's ads have been negative, and he running a negative campaign who wants that in office. He also said he had nothing to do about the Lewis comments. Onifather stated, "This is a political campaign it's supposed to get dirty. Sanator said, "Politics are for real people not fakers." By show of hands McCain one this round, maybe because he was more honest, and he didn't care about stepping on any toes, and called Obama out a lot, as Obama sat there with a smirk. O-2 M-1
Round Four. Who will you bring to the White house and who is better. Obama started off by saying Joe Biden is a good man he for the little people, he fights for working families. And g-d forbids something happens to him, Biden would be a good replacement, he states. McCain states, Palin is a reformer, and for special needs, he kept repeating that she is for Autism, and would be a good president. He stated that he and Biden disagree on many topics as well. Onifather says, "I like Biden better then Obama, he's right for the house." Sammi Rotunno states, "We need a girl in charge now, men have done nothing." By a show of hands Biden was a very high favorite. O-3 M-1.
Other issues at hand were foreign oil, which people favored McCain, and Row Vs wade which went to Obama. Healthcare was up for grades, there was too much chaos to see how many voted for McCain or Obama pretty split. But education did go to Obama people weren't fond of vouchers or the no child left behind act in the room it seems because there were a lot of boos about it.
All in all, the final debate was a hit. Obama got many cheers and one the debate in the campus center by a show of hands. McCain had more of a let me pick on Obama night and he really stepped on his toes, and laughed at him a lot but that's politics for you. Wonder who will win.
